The California-based DJ, producer and virtuosic maestro of all things bassy, and the man who has singlehandedly sold more hard concert tickets in North America than any other EDM artist this year (Deadmau5, Guetta, Skrillex, Avicii, Tiesto…the lot!) – is about to set off on his most gargantuan European tour yet!
Aptly christened “Bassnectar’s European Vacation” the original long-haired, dubbed-up superstar will play a total of 13 shows throughout Europe this summer, taking on a mixture of mammoth club gigs and eye-watering festival stages. Watch the official tour video below:

Not many producers get handpicked by deadmau5 to conjure a full length artist album for his prestigious mau5trap imprint; so for German specialist Moguai to get the nod twice in as many years is one hefty testament to the sheer quality, imagination and originality of his musical output.

Winter Music Conference’s 26th annual program will take place March 8 – 12, 2011 at the Miami Beach Convention Center and other venues throughout Miami Beach and the greater Miami area. I’ve been a fan of London based Plump DJs (Lee Rous and Andy Gardner) for awhile now. Their sound is revered for its blurring of the boundaries between electronic musical styles taking in breakbeat, house and techno. The 9th annual 3-day music & arts festival, Camp Bisco, has confirmed some of the 50+ performer lineup including LCD Soundsystem, Ween, Thievery Corporation, Girl Talk (!!!), Major Lazer and Diplo. The Disco Biscuits will be performing all 3 of the nights. The Camp location is at Indian Lookout Country Club in Mariaville, NY on July 15-17.
They’ll also be at Ultra Music Festival in Miami this month (the 26th) with Tiesto, Deadmau5, Passion Pit and more. AND they’ll be at Bonnaroo this June in Manchester, TN.
