Video: Blue Foundation – Broken Life

Today Noisey premieres Brooklyn-based electronic/dream pop duo Blue Foundation’s new short documentary “Broken Life.”  The film follows Pepper, a charismatic homeless man living on the streets of California for the last 30 years, and is soundtracked by the band’s music.  This past Monday, Blue Foundation and Noisey also premiered the music video for “Just a Hand” featuring a cameo from Pepper. The track is from their forthcoming album, In My Mind I Am Free, out May 22nd through their own imprint, Dead People’s Choice Records. The video is an excursion through the streets of Los Angeles and New York on skateboard. Best known for their songs “Eyes on Fire” (certified double platinum in the US) from the “Twilight Saga” and “Sweep” from Michael Mann’s “Miami Vice,” the band released their first 7″ via Moshi Moshi Records and their first, self-titled debut album was released shortly thereafter. Their songs have also appeared on the TV series “The O.C.,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “CSI:Miami,” and “The Cleveland Show.”
